A short, practical list for the first day, and how the insurance part works when you repair with us.
Can you drive the car safely?
Who was at fault?
Do you have collision coverage?
Call your insurance company (or the other driver's, if they were at fault) and open a claim. You will get a claim number. From that point you can hand everything to us: we send the estimate and photos, meet the adjuster if needed, order parts and file supplements for hidden damage.
If the damage is small, send us photos before filing. Sometimes the repair costs less than your deductible, and a claim on your record is not worth it. We will tell you either way.

Insurance companies often recommend their network shops. They are allowed to recommend, but in Pennsylvania they cannot require you to use a particular shop, and your claim is paid the same way at the shop you choose. The decision is yours.
Not anymore. Most insurers accept the estimate from the shop you choose and inspect the car there. One visit to us is enough.
To the shop, at pickup. The insurer pays the rest of the approved amount directly to us.
We document it with photos and file a supplement. The insurer approves the extra work and pays for it; it does not come out of your pocket for covered repairs.
Whenever your policy covers OEM parts, yes. Some policies specify aftermarket parts for older cars; we tell you what your policy allows before ordering.
Yes. Your own policy's uninsured-motorist or collision coverage usually applies. We help you figure out which and work the claim with your insurer.
Send photos to (267) 722-8355. We will tell you whether the car is safe to drive, what the repair involves, and whether it is worth a claim.
